The Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church presents a preschool with this purpose in mind:

“To create a Christian learning atmosphere
where young children can grow spiritually, socially, intellectually, physically,
and emotionally.”

This program is an outreach of the church to the community. It is our desire to provide a service that will enrich both the church and the neighborhood.

Enrollment is open to all, regardless of race and religion.

Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church Preschool provides a nurturing, stimulating, and spiritual environment for children.

Our objective is to produce eager, positive and independent learners who have a solid foundation of language and mathematical skills. These skills are enriched by a curriculum involving themes, projects, field trips, music, literature, theater and learning centers.

Close communication is maintained between parent and teacher. Experienced teachers give careful attention to all aspects of each child’s development: spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical.

Many resources are used to help children develop positive habits of work, play, and appreciation of God’s beauty and joy and a firm sense of self-worth and that of others.
